Be an Islander for a Day

At long last, we are thrilled to be able to once again welcome you to DeLaSalle to become an Islander for a Day! Two years ago, when we could last run this program, we hosted 358 students for an Island visit. Come to campus to follow a ninth grader through a day of classes. See what it feels like to sit in a DeLaSalle classroom. Taste the amazing cafeteria food. Experience our one-of-a-kind campus in the center of the Twin Cities, and meet a ton of future fellow Islanders!

Starting in November, you can take a closer look at what it means to be a De student. We are inviting eighth grade students to choose a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday to come to DeLaSalle. Please note that, due to our modified block schedule, Friday is the only day in which students have eight class periods; every other day of the week features four 80-minute class periods. We will do our best to ensure that each student is able to visit the classes that interest them most!

In order to schedule an Islander for a Day visit, please click on the button below and create a profile if you have not already. Once you reach the application dashboard, please fill out the form titled "Islander for a Day (optional)."

If you have questions, please contact us by emailing or by calling Mike O'Keefe at 612-676-7679. Can't commit to a full day? No worries! We will work hard to accommodate each student's needs.
